Pancakes
Pancakes anyone? Halloween is almost here! Try out this easy to make pumpkin pancake recipe:

2-cups Pancake Mix
4 heaping tablespoons of Pumpkin Pie Mix (from the can)

Mix the ingredients and make pancakes. Cook as per the mix's directions and cook long enough so that they don't come out spongy.

Serve with cranberry sauce and warm syrup. So easy. So Yum. You can make even better waffles with this mix too.
I am so excited about all of the new Web 2.0 technologies that I have been playing around with lately. Wanna play too?

Check out Photoshop.com/express and feast your eyes on great photo editing tool that will even bring in your Flickr images. This may be old news, but I lik-it-alot.

How about getting some work done with Acrobat.com. To mention a few things - it's a sort of free service that lets you use Buzzword (the online collaboration word processing app) and Share an online meeting space.

Then there's Premiere Express on Photobucket.com? Ok...it's not a full blown video editor, but still cool stuff. I made this super cheesy video: see video. Don't laugh - I built it in about 30 seconds. It's called a "Remix."

These are just a few to mention. Have some others? Let me know, I would love to see them!
8 FILMS TO DIE FOR - AFTER DARK HORRORFEST Coming to El Paso at the Carmike. I hope to attend this event in Phoenix. We'll see how scary these movies are. Halloween extended...joy. Thanksgiving is such a bore anyway.
Ok, Cannibal Ferox was a bit too much for the film fest...so was Bloodsucking Freaks. Both did their best at going over the top. The animal sacrifices in the Cannibal Ferox movie were a bummer - not scary. The Beyond, an old Fulci film was too hard to find(maybe for good reasons) As a result I have decided to not show these for the film fest. Instead the current line up is:

>Tromeo & Juliet
>I Drink Your Blood
>Basket Case (a favorite of mine, now uncut/unrated)
>>>The last movie is undecided - if you have a recommendation let me know!

I hope to have a great turnout this year. It's BYOB, 18 and up only! The movies will show every Friday at 7pm sharp all month of October.
Did I mention that it's a BYOB event? $5 cafe purchase gets you in - in other words, buy something in the cafe for $5 and it gets you a free ticket to the show.

See you there!
